Join our weekly Relax and Restore – Sleep Support Yoga online* class. Many studies have linked yoga’s benefits to improved sleep – falling asleep with ease, sleeping for longer periods, and returning to sleep more quickly when waking at night. In this restorative yoga class, registered yoga therapist, Miriam Patterson, will guide participants through 30 minutes of restorative postures to calm the nervous system, ending the class with a 30-minute guided yoga nidra - a meditation and conscious relaxation practice.
Designed specifically for people who have, or have had cancer, this program is open to all abilities and is available, free of charge, to anyone dealing with the effects of cancer.
When: Tuesdays* from 7 - 8 p.m.
Where: Online with Zoom®, instructor will be live

*This class is gentle and interoceptive - you will be following your own body and because we are online, you will be ultimately responsible for the safety of your own movement. If you are joining for your first class, please sign on 5-10 minutes early so that our instructor can meet you to learn about any modifications or adjustments she may recommend for you to more safely participate in the class.
