Join the CCNM Integrative Cancer Centre (CCNM ICC) for an 8-week online mindfulness course that will run every Thursday beginning April 29 to June 17, from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
In these weekly, one hour sessions, you will learn and practice mindfulness-based techniques, such as relaxation, visualization and meditation, which have been proven to improve health by boosting the body’s immune system and alleviating depression, anxiety and other disease-related symptoms. In this safe, professionally-led online group setting, you will explore your own journey, and discover resources to manage stress, pain and illness with greater calm and wisdom.
This program will be run in partnership with Better Living Toronto and will be led by Rachel Kampf, M.Ed. RP Registered Psychotherapist. It is available, free of charge, to anyone dealing with the effects of cancer.
Please note: Registering will sign you up for all eight weeks of the course.
