CCNM is committed to protecting the privacy rights of all individuals who visit the College’s websites.
2.1 CCNM only collects personal information that is required to fulfil the delivery of services to website visitors and with their consent. Individuals who have provided personally identifiable information for the purpose of receiving communications from CCNM will have this information stored until the individual requests to be unsubscribed. All other personally identifiable information will be stored for no longer than four years and then removed from our records unless Canadian law mandates that it kept for a longer period of time.
2.2 CCNM will protect all personal information collected by the College and have in place the proper procedures to ensure that such information is not improperly or inadvertently disclosed.
2.3 CCNM will not disclose information collected or maintained by the College without the consent of the individual to whom the information pertains unless mandated by law.
2.4 Any individual who wishes to view any personal information about them maintained by the College may do so.
2.5 CCNM websites may automatically record some information about an individual’s visit including the individual’s Internet domain for their Internet Service Provider, the Internet Protocol Address of the computer accessing the website, the type of browser and operating system used by the individual as well as the date and time of the site visit, the specific pages of the website visited and the previous website visited by the individual if they came to a CCNM website by means of a link from another site. CCNM uses this information for statistical analysis in order to improve the websites.
This policy applies to all CCNM websites.4. Responsibility
It is the responsibility of those designing and maintaining CCNM website to ensure that all CCNM websites are in compliance with this policy.
