Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care system that blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. The naturopathic philosophy is to stimulate the healing power of the body and treat the underlying cause of disease. Naturopathic oncology is the application of naturopathic medicine in the field of cancer care and treatment.

Naturopathic care at the CCNM ICC includes the use of natural therapies at doses and times that will support chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or other cancer treatments. These natural therapies will support your own healing ability and help your body cope with the toxicity and side effects associated with conventional therapies.

As a patient, you can expect to see one of our naturopathic doctors for an initial consultation of up to two hours, in which medical history, relevant test results, and current health status are all assessed, and a treatment plan is put in place. Your individual treatment plan will vary, but will consist of nutritional guidelines, vitamin and herb supplementation, lifestyle changes and exercise, the use of IV therapies where suitable, and referrals to other physical and emotional therapists at the CCNM ICC. Your return visits will be for 60-minutes and scheduled as needed.
